Chartered Bank Caters to Customized Needs of Small to Mid-Size Corporations in British Columbia 

SME Businesses Demands the Same Level of Service as Large Enterprise, Propelling Growth for Jameson Bank in British Columbia

With 83 percent of businesses in British Columbia classified as small businesses, only one chartered bank is directly focused on catering to their needs. Jameson Bank, made popular in Canada with its “concierge banking” approach to small and medium enterprises, has grown by word of mouth in British Columbia, helped by a steady base of very loyal customers.

“Demand for our white glove approach was so strong we recently recruited a new local expert in Vancouver,” said James Lau, vice chairman at Jameson Bank.

Madleine Rab, recently of Citizens Bank, joins the Jameson team locally, with a mandate to grow the market share of Jameson Bank in British Columbia, “an important and successful market for us,” she said. “Vancouver is a hub of economic activity and the main gateway to Asia Pacific. With our diverse mix of businesses and people, the Jameson concierge services are very popular.”
